As a makeup artist of 24 years, Sara Lindsay, like many in her industry, regularly wore black. Whether you also love to dress head to toe in black, or collect key pieces that pair seamlessly with the rest of your wardrobe, black is versatile, flattering and diverse. Sara dreamed of a store that carried only black clothing and accessories and she was confident that so many others would love it too.

Although Sara was running multiple businesses, including Sara Lindsay Makeup Studio and Ruby Reid Candles + Fine Fragrance, the idea of a store carrying only black clothing kept tugging away at her. So, in April 2024, Sara decided to finally take a leap of faith and bring this concept to Regina. Serendipitously, Jaime Bolt, joined Sara as a business partner, believing in the vision from the start. Sara & Jaime welcome you to BLAK Apparel.

BLAK Apparel offers brands and designers from Saskatchewan, Canada, Denmark, The United States, and around the world. BLAK is a come as you are, welcoming space where you can feel free to explore and discover what speaks to you best. At BLAK, you’ll find everything from basics to denim, business, evening and formal wear, to handbags, jewelry, candles and perfume.

We offer a wide range of price points and we are size inclusive where possible. There is something at BLAK for everyone.

As we introduce our website, we will offer online shopping and pick-up for a sampling of our collection but you will find the entire collection in-store.
